Matthew 1:18-25

My summary of this story is the birth of Jesus Christ. It tells about all the generations that led to the birth also about the dream that Joseph recieved from the angel that night. Joseph also wanted to Put Mary away because he didnt want her birth public. But when he got the dream from the angel, he knew what he had to do. He knew that he would have to name the child Jesus. And if i was in Joseph’s place, I would feel pressured. Because I would know, that i would have to be more responsible, i would have to make that change into fatherhood and manhood. And that I would have to step up and set a good example for my child. Also I would have to be a good father-figure. I know that it would take alot of responsibility to raise a child at the age mary and joseph were. But i would look to God for giudance and help for my child and also my family. I would always be there for my family and always care for them. Making sure that they are safe and sound. And making sure that my wife is okay.

There was this 10 year old girl named Damaris that went shopping with her mom one day and they had to return this video into a mailbox that was right by her home, But the mailbox was by a place called Red & Ed’s convenience store and there’s a curve in the street where a lot of accidents occurred. So, Rob, which is Damaris’s father suddenly hears screeching tires and someone screaming, and without even knowing what is happening he picks up the phone to dial 911. To find a scary surprise he didn’t realize that it was his daughter, Damaris, who was laying on the ground, Hit by a truck with the force of knocking her 25 feet. She had been very badly injured. Two men took their jackets off to wrap Damaris and the helicopter came to take her to a children’s healthcare. They started everything and when they were done the parents were met by a chaplain that told them that their child suffered lacerated liver and a fractured skull! After all of this She was responsive and her first word was “Ow”. She was so happy to have left to see her family again. She missed her brothers and sisters and wanted to thank the whole neighborhood. (-:

Some stories in this world are not always going to have happy endings but for this 10 year old girl to be one of the many few to have a story that ends likes this, is truly a miracle to me!

Relationship with Christ

When it comes to a relationship with Crist,its not easy.You dont know if you should be faithful or not believe in him..Also when you are upset you take a lot out on him because you didnt get what you wanted or like is not far.its hard to keep your faith because when you constantly have someone telling there is no God you start to wonder if there really is a God..thats were your real faith comes in..will you still be strong and have you faith stong or just having your faith linger because some peple just dont believe in him,its not up to them,its all on you..a relationship with Christ is somthing you can never give up,hes a best friend that will nebver leave you no matter what happens,hes someone you can always talk to no matter what it is.keeping your faith is is like keeping your relationship with Christ even thow its hard to believe in someone you dont know.the best thing is to think of it as a relationship the only way to keep it stong is to talk to him”praying” its not hard.All you have to do is just talk to him like a normal conversation and it will be a bost as i should say to your faith…when you look to God everything is better..keeping your faith is NOT easy.its very difficalt.so you have to chose if its what you really want.your parents are not makeing the choice for you anymore….its all up to you..when it comes to your friends your not going to go with what they think,if they are not catholic or whatever your not going to change because you have to its what you wetre grown up to believe in..not what everyone what you to believe in.are you still going to believe in God latter on??

Article On Faith-Post 3

The article i found on the internet has to do with Abrahams faith in God. Abraham had a huge amount of faith in God. He believed so much in God that he left his home to travel somewhere far with his wife to a place he didnt even know really existed. I find that to be amazing how a human can do all that he is told to without explanation. What i also found that was nice about it was that its true what people say”If you follow God and do what he wants he’ll reward you”. Abraham is an example of a true believer. All of us should have as much faith as he did.

This article means faith to me because i can relate to it. Iam a Catholic so i too believe in God. I do what God says to dobut i also take advice from someone else. My mom, see my real mom passed away a few years back and sometimes she’ll com in my dreams and tell me what i should do and i just listen.She will play out the whole scenario as a dream and almost like play-out what i should do. I listen to my mom like Abraham listens to God. Faith is important in my life. God and my mom help me keep it strong.

Who I know that resembles Christ? Post 2

Well that is kind of a hard question for me. The reason why is because I truly don’t believe in the Bible but I do believe Jesus was once a man and if he was people could not resemble him, people resemble themselves, who they really are. Some people do have similar qualities and personalities as Christ but they do not completely resemble Christ himself. If I had to choose from anyone I’d obviously choose either my Mother or Father because they have been the most important people in my life and that I know the best. Parents are always there for you and tell you what’s truly best for you. They always want whats best for you and never the opposite. I still don’t believe that my parents resemble Christ but they do have some same personalities. If I had to choose a second person it would be my Aunt in Canada (Susana) that is letting me stay with her and feed me while I stay there for the Christmas break and she’s always been kind to me ever since I was 6. That’s right I’m Canadian deal with it. I’m sorry it took me so long to post this I just got out of work 10 minutes ago and I wrote this.

The commandment that I feel is most practical to our daily lives is Exodus 20:14 “Honor your father and your mother.” I think this commandment is important because our parents do a lot and sacrifice a lot for us and the least we could do is show them love and respect. They are always trying to give us what they never had so we can become successful and make something of ourselves. And the most important thing they do is provide us with unconditional love. At any age we should always respect our parents, not only as kids. If we don’t respect our parents as adults, how could we expect our own kids or anyone else to respect us? If we want to be treated respectfully we must show respect to others. At the end of the day, the whole world could be mad at us but we will always have our family there behind us keeping us going. They cared for us when we couldn’t; they feed us and clothe us. They supply us with things we want and even desire. We can always count on our parents to be there for us, whether we want them to or not, they are there. Point is, our parents do way too much for us and go the extra mile on what they need to do just to make us happy.
